Description

Dante, bekränzt in Renaissancetracht (Mitte links) ermuntert den jungen Sänger Casella (Mitte rechts), der ein Lied Dantes singt und sich selbst dazu auf einer Mandora begleitet. Rechts weitere Leute, links ein bekränzter Dichter. (Purgata Cant. II, 112-117).
