Description

A cartouche on an album cover for the Royal English Opera, Covent Garden. Putti musicians play aulos (having flared ends), tambourine, timpani, and triangle (played in a left-handed position). Among the putti also lie a cello, lyre, tambourine, and trumpets(?).
