Description

A photograph of a gold-plated, sandstone statue outside of a Chinese tea house pavilion near Sanssouci Palace in Potsdam, Germany. The life-size statue is of a robed Chinese woman playing a triangle. Johann Mathias Gottlieb Heymüller (1715-1763) is known to be the sculptor that created this statue ca. 1755/1756.
