A group of people are depicted near the seashore, with a city on a hill in the background. The sea is shown to the left. In the center are a male figure standing, playing a lute, and to the left and slightly behind is a female figure standing, playing a large tambourine. In front of them are a male and female figure shown dancing. To the right of the musicians and dancers is a woman, seated, on the ground, nursing a child, in front of a building. Farther to the right is a woman watching the dance, seated in a chair, and two men having a conversation. One of them is pointing at the dancers, and the other one is holding a fish and fishing equipment. To the left are two apparently male figures engaged in conversation. One is seated, with a pile of fish. Other figures can be seen in the background, in and around boats.
