Description

Bacchanten und Bacchantinnen bekränzen eine Pansherme ganz links. Vier Bacchantinnen spielen auf Instrumenten (Triangel mit Klirringen, aulosartiges Blasinstrument, von dem nur das Mundstück sichtbar ist, Tamburin und eine schmale Langhalslaute, von der nur der Hals und Wirbelkasten sichtbar sind). Ein Bacchant bläst die Syrinx. Links neben der Herme steht ein kleiner Cupide und bläst auf einer S-förmigen Trompete.
