The countryman's dream of coalescing virtue and vice, round about the maypole see how we trot, hot pot, hot, brown ale we have got...

This colorful, satirical etching features eleven individuals, most of them identified as good or evil by having horns or halos at their heads (an innkeeper, a seated man, and a musician lack such labeling). Six of the figures are dancing around a maypole, accompanied by a man playing pipe and tabor. Within the picture are several signs, bits of text, and details of imagery with satirical significance.
