Identified as a "marionette" theatre, the stage in this drawing appears much like a familiar proscenium stage layout, but with only a small apron for the 12-member orchestra (instruments indistinctly sketched), and only 5 rows for audience seating; ca. 60 audience members face the stage. The stage itself features a backdrop with mountains and a lake, but no marionettes are pictured.
