Description

This item is a mezzotint version of a portrait by Joshua Reynolds (RIdIM item 6332) of a young lady playing an English guitar, described as a lute in some listings. She sits playing the instrument, with her head turned slightly to her left to see the music book open toward her; a small portion of the back of a page of that book shows legible musical notation.
