Description

Print reproduction of Rubens' painted ceiling at the Banqueting House at Whitehall, where the art is preserved in situ. Among the many images of animals, humans, angels, and cherubim, are one cherub with a natural trumpet and another with an oboe or shawm; the featured, historical figure is James VI and I, King of Scotland, England and Ireland.
