Description

In this engraving, a pavilion balcony is occupied by nine figures, the female singer and eight men, some of whom appear to be playing instruments: cello, bassoon(?), and possibly an unidentifiable instrument hidden by the singer's shawl or sleeve. Behind the musicians are shutters that could conceal organ pipes. On the ground level, a young man with an end-blown wind instrument can be seen at the edge of the pavilion. Many people occupy the area around the pavilion, listening and socializing.
