Description

In this painting, Zoffany presents himself along with his daughter and two of his colleagues. He stands, palette and brushes in hand, beside a large empty canvas; Giacobbe Cervetto is pictured playing cello, and James Cervetto sits in a contemplative pose; all figures appear to be uninvolved with one another.
