Description

This portrait presents a family of four--the father dressed in a black suit, the mother and daughters in flowing white gowns, and the young son in a plaid highland-type costume--all in an aristocratic home setting. A guitar and an open music book are on the floor beside the son; in front of him is an undiscernible object.
