Description

Painting depicts an lavish interior scene, with twenty-four individuals people engaged in conversation or music making. Among the musicians, there is a singer, and four instrumentalists. Instruments shown being played are lute and harpsichord; those being held (ready to play) are cello and probably violin with bow (barely visible); on the floor is a violin case. Open music scores (illegible) are shown in the hands of singers, on music racks, and on the floor.
