Description

Depiction of a dance scene performed by the dance group of Rudolf von Laban (Rezső Laban de Váralja, 1879-1958), an Austro-Hungarian dance artist and theorist. He founded a choreographic training center in Zurich in 1915 and later set up branches in Germany (Berlin and Würzburg) as well as Italy, France and central Europe. The photograph shows a scene of Laban’s original choreography “Narrenspiegel” (1926).
