Description
From the museum website: Beatrice Harrison (1892-1965) was a British cellist who performed during the first half of the 20th century. Some of Harrison’s “live performances,” which were broadcast by the BBC radio, took place in the gardens of her home in Oxted. During these broadcasts, the nightingales that frequented the garden would sing along. Hence, Oakley's title.
