One of several paintings Streitt created on the subject of itinerant musicians, this painting presents five figures seen from behind, walking along a road marked with wheel trails in a snowy landscape, toward a village in the distance. Instruments visible are a double bass, a trombone and a smaller brass instrument (possibly horn, saxhorn or euphonium--only the bell is seen).
