Description

In decorative outdoor surroundings, nineteen seated young women encircle a seated hookah-breathing man and play a variety of string and percussion instruments (possibly tambura, rabab, duktar (dotara), setar, bin or vina, pakhavaj, mrdanga or dhol); two un-played instruments and images of various birds, flowers, and trees dot the scene.
