Interior scene shows eight persons: four or five are playing sketchily depicted musical instruments (two sizes of viol-like instruments with curved bows, lute, flute, and perhaps an imperceptible table-top instrument), while one holds a music score and two appear to be conversing. A panpipe and a small curved wind instrument are visible on the floor. A dog is also present. Background includes fabric hanging from columns separating the people from a view of architecture outlined beyond.
