Description

Orpheus carries Euridice by his left arm with his head turned away from her so that we see the left profile of his face. He carries a five-string lyre in his right hand. He is dressed in a tunic with a robe covering his left shoulder and a laurel wreath on his head. Euridice holds on to his shoulders. Her head is tipped back with her face pointing straight up, and her eyes are closed. She is wearing a full-length dress.
