Description

Terracotta figure of a girl seated on a rock, her right hand raised and holding an unidentifiable object, by her left side is a large tambourine, wearing long-sleeved jacket over chiton (perhaps form of Persian kandys), long hair parted at the back to fall in two long tresses, wearing thick stippled wreath. Coarse pale orange clay, white coating, red on hair and tambourine, gold(?) on vine leaf and girdle, rose-madder and blue on jacket, rose-madder on chiton.
