Description

A right profile caricature of the composer and music teacher, Auguste-Mathieu Panseron, with a guitar on his back strapped across his body from the right shoulder to his left waist. His nose is drawn as a slight bump on his face above smiling, pursed lips and a jutting, sharp chin. His long, straight hair covers his ears. His large belly protrudes from his lower abdomen stretching his pants, and his right hand is in his pocket. He is wearing a tall top hat, a coat with tails, a vest, and a cravat. A folded newspaper sticks out of his back pocket.
