Description
Cover artwork for the 'valsa lenta' titled "Nas azas d'um cherubim...", by Erothides de Campos (music) and Jonas Neves (lyrics). Several female figures in flowing robes are depicted in a wooded scene in the illustration: two sit leaning against each other on the trunk of a fallen tree in order to read a sheet of music held by the left woman. Directly behind them, another woman holds up a sheet of music with her opposite arm raised as if she was singing with the pair. A fourth figure floats in the air behind the others, holding a lyre and watching the singers. The image appears to have been cropped to accommodate the layout of information on the cover, as a portion of the right edge has been removed to set Neves' name on the page. The top of the page reads "A Senhorinha Lygia Costa", which may indicate the original performing artist.
