Description
Central panel of a triptich formerly in S. Maria della Scala in Verona, rich in local and historical symbolism. Three angel musicians are at the feet of the Virgin; their book of music seems to be partially legible. One is playing lute, one singing and holding music, and one playing a small guitar.
