A group of six men and two women, play and listen to music, all seated except one man who stands behind the musicians in a room of a house. The musicians, all men, are seated in the center to the left side, one playing violoncello, one holding a bassoon, one holding a violin, and one playing a violin. Two women and a man sit at a table on the right.
