Notes
Photograph source: Hoyt Sisters Collection, 1901-10 Photos Notebook. Frances and Grace Hoyt were soprano soloists that toured with the Sousa Band in 1909 (Bierley). The piece "Love Light" mentioned here may be related to the waltz-like duet "Love, light of my heart" from Sousa's 1897 operetta "The Bride-Elect".
