Description
This multi-part trompe l'oeil fresco surrounds the room in which it was painted, just below a large ceiling fresco. Two groups of musicians singing and playing instruments are depicted: two or three singers (one with a leg dangling over the balcony railing) accompanied by lute and guitar, with a violinist to the right; a group of wind players with three cornetts (one a small cornettino), sackbut, lute and guitar.
