This multi-part trompe l'oeil fresco on four walls surrounds the room in which it was painted, just below a large ceiling fresco. Several groups of musicians singing and playing instruments are depicted: a trio of two violinists and bass player with singers on each side; a singer with chitarrone (theorbo) and guitar flanked by another guitarist and lutenist; a singer and guitarist with lutenist on the left side; a group of wind musicians playing flute, cornett, sackbut and perhaps shawm.
