Description

In the top center of the painting are a mandolino (mandole) and a violin lying on top of a decorative cabinet. Two lutes (one upside down and partially obscured, probably an archlute or theorbo) are on a table (one with folded paper resting on the soundboard). On the right behind the table is probably a cello (only the scroll, pegs and neck are visible). An open book of music is under lute on the left side of painting, and two closed books on the right (one of which has the name "Alfonso Loschi" on the spine).
