Winged female figure (possibly Fama) blowing straight trumpet and holding an olive branch in the left hand; Francesco Barbaro (1390-1454) seated holding the baton of a condottiere in his right hand and resting his left hand on the Brescia lion (both symbolizing his importance as defender of Brescia against Milan); at his right is Virtue, with crown of laurel; behind the lion Fortune with a cornucopia; on the right side a winged putto holding Barbaro's helmet and armor; at the left two women, one of them with two faces and a serpent twined around her arm probably representing Prudence, the other possibly representing Wisdom (who is a frequent companion of Prudence).
