Description

In a landscape in the center Madonna holding the Child Jesus; at the Madonna's feet three angels, one of them (left) playing vihuela da mano, right hand plucking the strings (eleven pegs, but no strings depicted), left hand on the fingerboard; the second angel (middle) is singing from music (not visible); on each side of the image two saints standing: on the left side: St. Catherine of Alexandria and St. Leonard, who wears the dalmatic of a deacon with representations of St. John the Baptist and St. Jerome; on the right side: St. Augustine, on whose cope are shown St. Veronica, St. Anthony Abbot, five unidentifiable figures, and St. Apollonia.
