Description

A nude bacchante dancing, stretching upward and outward; a vine lying along her shoulders. The model for this figure was the dancer Desha, and the pose is reported to have been inspired by her dance "Modernistic Tango," which was last performed in New York at the Roxy Theater in 1931.
