Description
Altarpiece consisting of nine panels and eighteen that make up the predella. The main scene depicts the Virgin with the Child surrounded by four angel musicians (lute, harp, portative organ, and rebec). Above this piece is a scene with music, including lute, portative organ, gittern, harp as well as legible music. On the right side are scenes of the lives of Christ and the Virgin. On the left side three scenes of the life of Saint Francis are presented. All of the scenes are framed with Gothic ogee tracery. In the center of the predella a scene with two angel musicians is displayed (lute and gittern).
