Description
In this statuette from the Shaanxi (or Henan?) province, a female figure perfoms a dance step. Her left arm is raised and the right one is pointing downward and backward. She is wearing a long-sleeved bodice and a high flared skirt; the complicated hair-style is typical of the period.
