Description
The detail picture shows a deacon ringing a bell below which a group of people under the protection of an angel are praying. The Deacon is ringing a prime bell, a bell that is also used to mark the most important moment during the Catholic Mass when, according to the theory of transubstantiation, the wafer is transformed into the body of Christ.
