Description

Domestic interior scene of a singer, harpsichordist, and lute player making music together; singer also appears to be conducting. An additional harpsichord (?) covered with a tapestry, a cittern, and a bass viol occupy the left foreground; two paintings (hanging on the back wall) and the open harpsichord's lid-painting are also visible. The painting on the right is The Procuress (1622) by Dirck van Baburen.
