Description

The angel holds a string instrument upside down in front of him in his left hand. There is reason to believe the instrument is a rebec (see instrument detail).

Rebec [3202] (The instrument has a pear-shaped body flowing gently into the neck, which has a pegbox sloping backward. There are two triangular soundholes, four strings, a bridge, and a tailpiece.)
