Description

The combination of instruments, a triangle and wind instruments, makes this painting unique to Valö. Triangles are often found in depictions of David but wind instruments are not. The composition of the picture, with a train of people round David, is also unusual, as is the carefully depicted town with its turrets and towers.

People as subjects

David, King of Israel

Instruments [MIMO Code] (notes)

Triangle [3005] (held in the left hand)
