Description
8 males playing drums and 1 male playing a flute. This painting which is the right part of an original unique composition (see RIdIM record 207 for the left part) was commissioned by the Archduke Albert and Archduchess Isabella to celebrate the Ommeganck in Brussels in 1615. This was an important procession that honoured the most prestigious Guild in Brussels: the Crossbowmen guild.
