Description

At the top of the window are four angels and a flame under a dove with rays of light coming from it. John Sebastian Bach is shown standing, holding a book and a quill. Around Bach is the inscription, "I will praise thee o Lord among the people & I will sing praises unto thee among the nations." A figure stands to Bach's lower left holding a book under the inscription, "melody," and a figure stands at his lower right playing a portative organ under the inscription, "harmony." The inscription at the top reads, "Sing unto the Lord a new song and his praise in the congregation of saints." Inscriptions at the bottom read, "John Sebastian Bach 1685-1750," and "In memory of Mary Crawford Bigelow 1870-1929." The border of the window contains images of a harp, crossed trumpets, a lyre, a violin, cymbals, and a kettledrum.
