Jakob und Rahel umarmen sich vor einer Zisterne. Zu beiden Seiten die Schafherde. Im Hintergrund rechts ein alter Schäfer, der auf einer Schalmei oder Klarinette bläst. Drei weitere Personen hören ihm zu.
