This tapestry depicting a bathing scene belongs to a series of six items presenting idealized aspects of manorial life (“La vie seigneuriale”). In the center of the scene is naked woman taking a bath in an ornate fountain. Two musicians stand behind the bathing woman; the female musician plays lute while the male musician plays flute. A male attendant carries a sponge and a basket, two female attendants are holding a box of jewels and a platter of pastries.
