"Left to right it shows a singer standing in front of a leaded window, a transverse flautist seated at a table, and a standing lutenist, above and to whose right hangs an open lute case. The flautist performs from an open partbook which contains the complete text and music for the cantus of Jouissance." (Slim 1984, 51)
